The Traveling Exhibition: Cas and Kato have a healthy mouth
The Traveling Exhibition is an educational project for
kindergarten and first grade primary education. The aim is to
convince children, teachers and (grand)parents of the importance of
a healthy mouth and to teach them the right knowledge and skills in
this area.
By animating the story of Cas and Kato throughout Flanders
and Brussels, the children are initially made enthusiastic. The
(grand)parents are also invited, so that they too draw their
attention to the theme. They play an important accompanying role in
brushing your teeth and healthy and mouth-friendly eating
habits.
The exhibition consists of a waiting room and a dental practice. The waiting room consists of all kinds of information modules and offers the teacher the opportunity to teach. The dental practice module is built up with hands-on activities and experiments, which are not always feasible at class level. The exhibition also features quizzes to test visitors' knowledge. The exhibition can also be supplemented with materials from the Healthy Mouth Case, which can be borrowed free of charge.
