Digicoach (floor): Multi-day training

Are you an enthusiastic and digitally skilled teacher in the team, who wants to coach and support colleagues on the classroom floor in the targeted and effective integration of ICT in the classroom? As a digital coach you take the lead in your team. You share the knowledge and insights you gain from the training process and you help your colleagues strengthen their digital skills and the targeted integration of ICT into their classroom practice.

You will discover the TPACK model that describes the knowledge a teacher needs to integrate ICT into his or her teaching. The TPACK model helps to design your lessons in such a way that you take three aspects into account: Pedagogical Knowledge (PK), Technological Knowledge (TK) and Content Knowledge (CK).

Program

This process consists of two sessions.

Session 1: asking questions and choosing digital tools.

• You learn to ask the coaching questions.
• We provide tools that help and support the choice of suitable digital tools.

Session 2: deepening coaching skills, dealing with resistance and TPACK model as a coaching tool.

• You reflect on the coaching skills you have learned, focusing mainly on dealing with resistance.
• The role of the digital coach as an educational expert is central, with the TPACK model as a starting point during the coaching conversation.

During this training you will learn:

• what are good coaching questions;
• asking the right questions;
• look critically at digital tools;
• how resistance works and how to deal with it in a targeted and constructive manner;
• conduct a coaching conversation with the TPACK model as a starting point.
