Roman soldier in the classroom

For more than twenty years, Quintus, the Roman legionnaire, has been besieging various schools in Flanders and the Netherlands.

His explanation concerns a complete scientifically sound reconstruction of a legionary from the middle of the first century AD.

The luggage, clothing, armament and combat techniques are thoroughly examined
illuminated and shown with a lot of educational material.

The children can also put on and try out a number of items themselves.

A demo lasts approximately two hours (morning or afternoon). Most groups have between twenty and forty students, but a little more or less does not matter much.
