You see which approach can work for children where the preventive approach at school level is insufficient. You become adept at identifying difficult behavior. Together we look for what exactly the child can learn to stop that difficult behavior. The focus is on phase one of the care continuum: increased care.
During this training you will learn:
- what happens in children when stress occurs;
- how to best respond in such a situation and the important role you play as a teacher;
- how to maintain your strength and guard your authority in a difficult situation;
- which tools help determine skills you teach a child;
- which tools support the effective learning of those skills.
