The Fable Cottage: Fairy Tales in English, French, German, Spanish and Italian
The Fable Cottage makes modern versions of fairy tales, especially for young and less young language learners. The old vocabulary has been replaced by modern words, and the stories have been translated and recorded at a leisurely pace by native speakers with a background in second language acquisition.
You can choose the audio story, sometimes also an animation video and the transcription is also available. There is also the option to see a translation in English if you listen to the story in another language.
