Tinkering with reading: Working together on a reading policy at school


How do you get students to read more and more? How do you ensure that students use reading strategies skillfully and flexibly? Can you also stimulate reading comprehension outside of the language class? And how do you build a reading policy together with your entire team?

During the school years 2020-2022, employees of the CTO, Schoolmakers and Artevelde University of Applied Sciences set to work with these questions in primary schools during two trajectories. The five keys for effective reading comprehension (see also VLOR practical guide, 2019) were central to both trajectories. Curious about the result?
