Sidekick Sam Academy: Online platform for teachers
The Sidekick Sam Academy is an online platform with the aim of informing, inspiring and connecting teachers (to be) so that they get even more tools and insights to make children and young people more resilient and to increase their well-being. The platform was developed with the proceeds of Red Nose Day 2021.
Sidekick Sam Academy
Why the name Sidekick Sam Academy? We call a teacher who works on a strong(er) future for the young people in his or her class a Sidekick Sam. And the Academy is there, especially for them. The Sidekick Sam Academy wants to support teachers and therefore offers a lot of material with which they can get started. From podcasts to articles and videos to lesson packs. Both brand new material, specially developed for Sidekick Sams, and existing material from partners with expertise.
Teachers can also register themselves and their school for free workshops and webinars. Or enter into a dialogue with each other on the forum. Inspiring each other with their success or failure stories and all this in a safe environment. After they have logged in with their teacher card. Colleagues among themselves. Because surveys at schools showed that there is a great need for this.
Theme
Every month the Sidekick Sam Academy tackles a new theme with lots of new input to get you started. Of course, teachers don't have to wait that long to come by again, because the platform is regularly supplemented with timeless items. Together we build a close-knit community.

Sidekick Sams, student teachers and education experts have come to the right place at the Sidekick Sam Academy. It is an inspiration and meeting place for and by everyone who ensures that young people feel good about themselves at school.
